HAPPY ENDING (albeit accidental) OF THE YEAR (and we sure needed one): The International Olympic Committee comes to America and runs a rigged game. They ADMIT it was a rigged game-saying it has ALWAYS been rigged (IOC's version of the Carvillian "Everybody does it"?). They then criticize the U.S., saying that our press made far too much of it ("OUR" PRESS?!?). But: THE HAPPY ENDING!!!! They are now considering never coming to America again!! Note to Daschlegephardt: Watch out! There IS A GOD!! Not often I applaud the US media, but they occasionally "get it". Nice work... More on the idiotic attitude of the IOC that is as long a part of their mind-set as the Games themselves: sport.guardian.co.uk
