re: this is a company that has never been through a real recession before The last real recession, long and ugly, one that wrung all the excesses out of the system, was in 1973-4. Most of the companies in the Nasdaq 100 hadn't been founded yet, in 1974. So everyone was unprepared, it just wasn't within their realm of experience. And there was a lot of wishful thinking going on, about how the Fed and the Information Revolution and JIT was going to abolish the business cycle. Why prepare for an event that was ancient, dead history? So we're having a 5T$ learning experience.
