A friend of mine recently told me about a woman that he knows who ran up $75k in credit card bills, got her parents to cosign on about another $75k and then stopped paying... Her parents paid back the amount she owed (or atleast a negotiated settlement on that amount) for what the cosigned and she either has or is going to declare bankruptcy. Tim
