A prominent brow is an important characteristic for the alpha male among apes, including the naked kind. It's a sign of likely muscular strength more than a big brain. Brezhnev once attributed his rise to the top to his eyebrows, which were the object of some mirth in the West. Uncle Joe Stalin was also no slouch in this department. It appears from this guy that the biggest, blackest moustache doesn't hurt either. With his other beauty secrets it adds up to a face that you'd rather not encounter in a dark alley. These characteristics are probably more important for defining leadership in "this part of the world" than in, say, the U.S. State Department. ;-) Doc
