Iran Cheered at Salt Lake City, Bush 43 Scowls

John,

Re: The Bushistas have been stepping all over themselves

National Public Radio really surprised me this morning. They were doing a report on Iran and brought up the really sad moment that Bush 43 had at the opening ceremonies at the Winter Olympiad. When the Iranian athletes were introduced, the crowd gave them a hearty round of applause. Bush, in his elite box, was seen to scowl. This replaced the usual smirk. Our fearless uberkaiser had been rejected by his erstwhile adoring masses. He was crestfallen. As a petite dauphine, he's a real crack-up. Totally predictable. And predictably maladaptive to anything that bears on reality. It is, after all, only his agenda, and Frank Carlucci and Dick Perle's script that matters. Sad, so sad that we have to endure this episode.

This will go down in history as that worst administration since Warren Harding disgraced the office.
