There has reportedly been a huge increase in breast cancer among young women in Iraq. There could be other causes - but the massive presence of weaponry using depleted uranium casings must be a prime suspect. Are cluster bombs, depleted uranium, etc., crimes against humanity? When they effect civilian populations for years if not decades? And how does Agent Orange fit into this category? Not to get into other contentious issues. The triumphalist American Right Wing in full puffed up glory doesn't stop and think about the humanitarian consequences of some of these actions - not only on the civilian populace of the 'enemy', but also on the servicemen of its own country - eg the Gulf War Syndrome - long denied, but now acknowledged. Depleted Uranium. Don't hide behind hair splitting - a poison by any other name is still a poison.
