<Speed skating ?>

I was nodding my head in approval of your remarks until you trashed my favourite winter event. Speed skating is a year round, perennial, world-wide, action event. It's fast, it's clean (at least in the long track), and it has been very profitable for the US in Olympic competition - if that means anything.
