Well, AMD is targeting .13 SOI for late 2002, which will be roughly comparable to .09 bulk. And AMD is targeting 1H 2003 for .09 SOI, which will be superior to .09 bulk.

So, aggressive or not, Intel hasn't got much of a choice.

It doesn't look like Intel will be able to reduce their capital spending any time soon, either.
