Interesting post! Mind telling me which plastics are the best mimics of human hormones? I have heard of substances in shampoos and soaps that mimic the female hormone estrogen and that substances with female hormone properties are added to livestock feed to increase growth rate of the animals. Which would suggest that if you use shampoos and soaps and eat meat often enough you will end up having female characteristics, say breast-like "pecs" (which will raise many a smile and/or laughter in a gym), and a higher-pitched voice. And that your penis and testicles will shrink overtime. Mindful of this, many men take care to marry women with small hands! <ggg>
