How about some number crunching for the weekend? The following is old but is still very applicable. You can input whatever number you deem appropriate. memia.com memia.com The breakeven cost based on this model is just for the spectrum alone. Now add on the cost of building out the networks. Looks like they need to hire Andersen to make the numbers come out. This is really not a good site (what do you expect from those UMTS people) but is the first one I found summarizing the spectrum costs through last fall. umts-forum.org I am beginning to think that Europe has already committed themselves to a 3G financial model that is doomed from the start.
