Pearly I highly recommend that you catch the movie "Enemy at the Gates". The opening 20 minutes are an incredible scene portraying the Battle of Stalingrad, how desperate the Soviets were and the lunacy of their tactics. I am history buff, specifically WW2 since my Uncle was an Army Ranger. Although I have read tons of books about the Eastern front, seeing the insanity of that battle in a visual context was stunning.
