Well, China was the preferred demon of the right before 9/11. My main problem with all the military talk, Iraq at the forefront, but Iran, North Korea, or whoever next, is that after the hypothetical military action, then what? This nation building stuff isn't easy. And blowing random countries apart without doing something to put them back together again afterwards doesn't seem that likely to do much good on the terrorism front, if the history of Afghanistan is any indication.
