I disagree. IMO What happened to women and still does happen to women in Afghanistan, saudia arabia, iran is a purer form of muslim/islam and from what I have seen posted here and from what I have read a woman is not equal to a man in the world of islam. If I remember correctly mohamed owned many wives and even took a 9 year girl for a wife. Again from what I have read this kind of thing goes on in the world of islam even today. How can a religion be based on this kind of behavior. 1500 years ago a little 9 year old girl is given to an old man as a wife and to this day this day this kind of thing still goes on. Heard on the news just today that somewhere near Toronto Canada a little 7 year old girl was mutilated ( circumcised ) at her home not likely any thing for pain, nice people these muslims.
