Prophet,

no no no & STOP! Not good to let "That is scary!"
to direct your actions in the wrong direction, as in to
"Make hay when the sky falls." :o)

"... on JPM Leap put options. They might expire worthless."

I will assume is like a short, as in hoping for Doom & Gloom,
and eventhought included in Dave Gore's approach is to protect
oneself from losing investmints, its more of a take the safe path,
not one that has dangerous possibilities, as in ones that allow you
the most control to exit a bad situation, and if this scary article has
any ability to se the light of day, then best to prepare for the worst
and hope for the best and position oneself to act in either direction.

I'm babbling again, so let the current facts speak for themselves.

Dave didn't give up that post for contest ranking for friday,
but its a safe bet that i'm still in first place and over half
are under initial investments. If these picks represent what
can be labeled the best picks for a short term hold of 4 months,
and the average movement of all after 1-2 months is neutral,
then that may speak that a lost has happened for the general
population in the USA holding those mutual funds.

Guess the question to ask is "what now & near term" for the markets
based on the general trend from mainstream news, as using the Zeev
thoughts, its not a bright light at tunnel, but maybe scary like that
article with a train heading towards us.

Since i don't follow other threads for trading or market insight,
and this thread seems to be doing good as in not bad or neutral,
then best we following Dave Gore's lead.

Dave did mention that bad news sneaking up on us is bad,
like the Enron, but Dave also correctly stated that its counter
productive to assume bad news to arrive without facts up front,
and even then bad news has momentum causing folks to need Tums.

Based on my gold as a safe haven in times of uncertain, it was very
understandable that my initial post on this thread #40 Dec 20
was not filtered into the thread's focus until #175 Dec 29 when i
actually "forced" Dave to address it, which he did on #180.

But that was then, and this is now, and now i'm first in contest
with both my picks good ones in the gold arena, with one up a
big 100% and the other up 55% for an average 77% increase.

Hopefully this post of mine here is taken tongue in cheek and with
a grain of salt since events can turn on a dime as we all know,
so now let me "roast" soft-something and ask what area his picks
now worth in the 2 thousand dollars from that 10 :o)

Since i'm not in the markets except for small fun money, its kind of
not correct for me to give advice like "Get into all cash."
