Do you know that travelling Canadians do NOT want to be mistaken for American. They put Canadian flags on their luggage for more than nationalistic fervour.

I think the swooning admiration only goes a certain distance. When Americans rave about how they saved the world from the scourge of Nazism, it's a bit tiresome. Yes, they helped, but only to save their own skin; they were only dragged in when Japan showed up and ruined the Hawaii fleet.

You can think it doesn't matter who likes and doesn't like you. It does.
