All I know about North Sea oil could fill about a thimble full. Here's a link to a report on North Sea production: simmonsco-intl.com Requires a free registration. The article I read last fall is titled: "The North Sea: Oil Production Has Peaked! The GOM Model Must Come To The North Sea" I don't have any insights into what Reagan might have done to manipulate the Continental or British gas pipeline deals of the day. There are knowledgeable folks on "High Tolerance Plasticity" or "Boom Boom Room" threads here at SI who could probably answer that question. -R.
