Annoying Noises #*&^@&!!!
I have a Dell 2100 running XP. I have 2 quite annoying sounds that I can't seem to turn off. They seem to work in tandem and but not always in the same order. One is a ringing sound like the old rotary dial telephones, and the other is spiraling (?) gizmo sound (sorry - best I can do). I have all the sounds clicked off but these two keep on keepin' on. These noises happen for no obvious reason - like closing an app for example. If I put in a CD to play while surfing, they play OVER the music!!! ARGGGGHHHH!!
HELP!

Tom
