KLP, I doubt that, even, John Grisham would touch such an imbedded case of fraud, and misdeeds. One of the issues that I found the funniest, was the case when the unions took over the railroad workers, they established 100 miles as a days work. At that time, such an estimate was reasonable, because the trains were slower, and took much longer to reach their destinations. The problem was (I don't know if it is still true.) that as the trains got faster, and faster, the union would not allow the railroad management to increase the mileage as a day's work. It became ridiculous that a railroad worker got a days pay for about one and a half hours of work.
