Then an alternative, when the BoD grants him additional options, I'll just mortgage the house.

By the way, I never understood that philosophy. If one is upset with MGMT, why not just liquidate your entire position and move on?

I bet there are plenty of "small" companies that have pretty decent growth prospects that would love to entertain an investor such as CALPERS.
