8. When the new bull market emerges, nobody believes it, even when it's staring them right in the face. They're so used to false rallies from stage 5, incompetence in government, incompetence in banking, and losses upon losses that they've suffered, that the real emerging bull market passes them by. There is deep skepticism in the face of the young bull, just as in the latter part of 2000, there was much hope in the face of the young bear. I get the feeling that the gold market is currently in this phase.
