As someone who has recently re-entered on my AMD long position, this kind of "revolving door" phenomenon is the most worrying for me. Jerry Sanders still has complete dictatorial control over AMD, and can continue to let his personal emotions rule the business. If this trend does continue, I'm sure we can expect Ruiz to be the next executive to pack his bags.

Of course, even more worrying than executives leaving the company would be what would happen if Jerry himself were to retire. With the corporate culture so solidly built on his ego, would AMD be able to survive without him?
