You have me there, I haven't read it. And I don't know how large a role Enron played in formulating the energy policy. I hope the policy is a good one. I recall President Bush referring to the power shortage in California as an "energy crisis." What led him to formulate the view that we were in the midsts of a crisis. Like what crisis, where's the crisis? Whose hands does it play into best when the President holds the view that there's an energy crisis? Who put that bug in his ear?
