I know some Indians who seem to live secular lives. They still seem to consider themselves Indian ethnically. They may consider themselves Hindu. I would say if they say they are, then they are. It's not my place to tell them what they are either ethnically or religiously.

You seem to adopt a frankly arrogant attitude in deciding these things for others.
