Based on historical numbers in the mining industry, it is true.

But I suspect that the environment is changing and that we will see the same kind of pattern we saw with the tecks in 1995-2000. There is so much money out there chasing for bargains that the golds may well be viewed as bargains compared to everything else.

For that reason, I agree with you that juniors should consider stocks swaps more than anything else. Because these stocks might well become much more expensive in the future if gold remain on a steady uptrend.
