True, there are very few similar deposits available to seniors.

But I don't think the acquisition cost is the issue here. As Russ suggested, the seniors will likely pay for these deposits with expensive stocks that will only get more expensive as gold move up. SO they will issue the same number of shares out of treasury to acquire a MFL at $300 or at $325.

What is important to them is how much cash the acquisition will generate. The higher the price of gold is, the more they want to complete the acquisition.
