I am a Verizon subscriber (only choice, no Sprint in San Luis Obispo, CA) and need to get a new phone. I've hung on to my QCOM Thin Phone as long as I can and it's finally about to fall apart. In reviewing the available phones on their web site, I can't really tell what future capabilities they have (911-location, data speed). Is there any reference elsewhere on the web I can look at?

In absence of that, does someone know if a phone is available from Verizon that is 1X and 911-location ready? If not, how about just 911-location ready?
