Looks to me like 43 and his administration have bent over backwards not to favor the industry, while at the same time balancing the need for increased, clean energy production and conservation.

The left will never be satisfied until they have the White House and both houses of Congress. In order to help achieve power, they would have the oil industry hamstrung, then blame Bush for the resulting energy shortage and economic demise.
