My argument was that the war against China should have been pursued, and that since the atomic bomb was dropped already, I do not see why it couldn't have been used again.

Of course this is all in hindsight.

I think Truman didn't like the effects of using the bomb, and that is why he didn't want to continue a war with China, because he would of used it again. And, that is like admitting a mistake to using it in the first place.

And, Marxism continues to kill millions and millions, in Africa. The world has not seen the last of communism. We should have eliminated them when we had the chance.

The loss of China to Mao's "agrarian reformers", the loss of the atomic bomb to the Soviets, Truman's cavalier dismissal of the Alger Hiss cas as a Red Herring, the firing of MacArthur. NO wonder Truman didn't run for reelection. What an abysmal record.
