David, yes you're right about what drives a stock but I think you're caught up in the Java hype. There is no Java office, and it would take several years to produce from scratch a competitive product. Then companies might start testing it and it would take several more years to convice them to start switching over. So I guess 4 years out you might see some real products that could compete (sell). Remember corporate america (the force behind office) has a hugh investment in office, they didn't switch to OS/2 for the same reasons they won't switch out of office quickly either.

Besides in Java current incarnation who would want to download a really large Java applet, when office is local. I can't even imagine a user at home trying it at all. Oh sure we'll have faster links, but they also said we'd have picture phones and smart homes and and and...
