Settle down William. As a Jew, why don't you give a call over to Ariel Sharon and his thugs and inform him of Tu Bish'vat. Ask him to stop the demolition of houses and orchards.

Tu Bish'vat as reflected in the Torah mandate that we are not to waste or destroy unnecessarily anything of value. It is interesting that this prohibition, known as bal tashchit (thou shalt not destroy) is based on concern for fruit-bearing trees, as indicated in the Torah verse that forbids the destruction of fruit-bearing trees in wartime.(Deuteronomy 20:191-20)
