heard a world "famous" man of God, state on national TV "I have no sins, I am pure, and God knows it".
Another sinless man! A leader of the church!
Our Lord Jesus The only man to walk this earth having no sin, never bragged about it, did He? But rightfully could if He did.!...O God help us!
We were stunned could hardly believe our ears, actually we were waiting for a recant, hoping against all odds that he had just misspoke, but to our dismay, there was no recant, no mistake, he meant it, and even repeated it. Kept on with an entire story of how he is so persecuted and hounded by the press and how he wished that God never called him, and how he is not in it for the $$. All the $$ in the world is not worth the persecution he and his fm. endure everyday......My heart was sickened, truly sickened.
O dear God the persecution and torture our Lord suffered and never once cried for Himself!
Do you think that if any of these men/women had to go around the world and preach the gospel in sandles and taking no purse,while riding a donkey, would still go?
It is any wonder why the people who follow these leaders are so holier than thou!?
God has said:
Isa 65:5-6
5 Which say, Stand by thyself, come not near to me; for I am holier than thou. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burneth all the day.
6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,
Lord have mercy upon me a sinner, and forgive me all my tresspasses.
