Interesting you should mention Ensco. I bought ESV about this time last year at 33 3/4 and it quickly fell to 27 or so. I then bailed out at a loss. As soon as I got out, it went up, of course, and I don't think it's seen 27 since. That was one defining experience for me because the episode got me to thinking more in terms of TA than FA.

In retrospect, I would have been better off having held it since it's about 60 now. But on the other hand, had I held it, it would be at 6 instead of 60. Gotta cut losses somewhere, and at some point in time. I still don't have that one figured out as yet. I suppose that if you buy into a good company like Ensco, there's not much need to worry too much about losses. At least in the long run...years, not months or weeks.
