I don't think you are a wacko, but I'm not sure you are carefully reading what I am saying.

I think the nuclear weapons in the hands of communists states are a massive current threat, perhaps a threat that is unlikely to be realized but still very dangerous.

I think communism is an evil ideology and that many millions of people where killed in its name.

I think that if communism went away it would be a good thing.

I think the idea of communism gaining any more influence or power in the world esp. in the US would be awful.

However I don't think communists in the US are very powerful or likely to become so soon.
