How about not allowing any TV ads at all? After all, we don't want to discriminate against "ugly" candidates ;-) In fact, no pictures of candidates should be allowed! The only thing that should be allowed are written position statements from each candidate. That would imply that potential voters would actually have to read these and understand them in order to make a decision.
