Nanasi or Not really Swahili It is actually Kiswahili and nanasi is the word for pineapple, I have discovered some very disturbing facts that may apply to your thread in Retail (Grocery). The clam is close enough to the oyster that it really does apply. "Mgeni hachomi chaza mtaani akanuka" A stranger does not roast an oyster in a village and then get accused of smelling of it. Keep that in mind when roasting clams.
