I'm looking back at what I started this topic with, and see that whatever it was I saw last week really irked me. 'course I can't remember what is was right now...

As for shredding, I agree. If there is one thing we learned from the Clinton years, it is that one doesn't have to shred documents to keep them from release. They could either "disappear", or one can file endless appeals all the while refusing to turn them over. One thing the A^2 and Enron shredding has taught is that it is real easy for the story to change from what happened to cover-up.
