Lab,

I glanced at ONIS's B/S and, I think, I posted; there is no GW. Basically, Ciena is pays a little premium over the "true" book value of the company. Yes, in better times, ONIS shareholders could've added a few zero's to the number; however, these are not the best of times.

But, instead of looking what you have to take; look @ what you are getting.... CIENA.....

A survivor. Remember the AT&T fiasco a couple of years ago when their merger with Tellabs was called off? Ciena is a true survivor and the combination should help Ciena take some deals away from Nortel....
