NEW YORK--July 12, 1996--On July 9, 1996, a
class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court
for the District of New Hampshire, C.A. No. C-96-373-JD, on behalf
of purchasers of the securities of Presstek Inc. ("Presstek") between
Nov. 10, 1995 and June 20, 1996, inclusive (the "Class Period").
The complaint charges Presstek, certain of its officers and
directors, and certain individuals and entities related to The Cabot
Market Letter and Cabot Money Management Inc. with violations of
Sections 10(b) and 20(a) of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and
related New Hampshire state law, by, among other things,
misrepresenting and/or omitting material information concerning
the financial condition of Presstek, and, with respect to certain
defendants, by their manipulation of the price of Presstek
securities during the Class Period.
Plaintiffs seek to recover damages on behalf of class members
and are represented by the law firms of Milberg Weiss Bershad Hynes
& Lerach LLP ("Milberg Weiss"), Schiffrin & Craig Ltd., Stull, Stull
& Brody and Weiss & Yourman, who have significant experience and
expertise prosecuting class actions on behalf of investors and
shareholders.

later than 60 days from today, move the court to serve as lead
