Yes, I agree.

I've seen articles about the longer term. I'm not aware of how the correlation works on a short time frame.

Yes. I would like to know if the bond market will be favorable to the SP so that I have a better chance of making money on the long side the next day. If trends in the SP and bond (or currency or commodity) markets are both in sync and favor the same side (long SP or short SP) I think it would improve the chance of making money on a given day.
