"Its nice to see some good news."

That is good news. Not much of that around lately. PNC Financial is wittling down their earnings almost in half now via correcting "accounting error." No one goes to jail for that.

The entire system needs an overhaul in my opinion. A year ago now I had an audit by the PA Department of Revenue due to the increased sales of non taxable items. That all came from on-line sales out of state and all were legit. They did fine over a three year period I bough a computer for the store from PC Connection which is not in my state. PC Connection did not collect PA sales tax from me and I did not voluntarily fill out a Sales and Use form and remit the sames tax for my purchase to the PA department of Revenue. The transaction occurred in 1998. The computer was about $2,000. The sales tax here is 6%. I had to pay the $120 sales tax, $275.00 in penalty and around $15 in interest. We sure were dishonest and major tax thieves;-)
