Herr GF: On the topic of being early-- Yup, when I travel I have one rule: go early and leave early, and it works for the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, the Louvre, Butchart Gardens. HOWEVER, I don't never wanna be early in this game. I've been early and it makes my stomach hurt. Earnings, earnings, earnings: "the other guy is probably looking at E for the fiscal year, which is positive - though an estimate." Maybe that's it. Estimated earnings. I bet these clobbered companies are knocking 'em dead in pro forma earnings. Funny, pro forma earnings used to BE earnings, in the old century. Interesting how things change. Kb
