The Swahili tribe knew their watermelon alright. That red metal sure is hard to get gold from. It always, well frequently, occurs with a bit of gold or silver, or both, however.
Mexico is famous for its copper (and silver, Mexicans used to carry silver for identification.) Mex. mines more copper, or used to, than Canada. Today Chile leads in Copper. Price is some low, otherwise I know some very fertile ground to go looking.
Texas Gulf had not a drop of gold in its copper. A few miles away the Jameison amd Kam Kotia mine ran with gold in their copper. Strange. But TG had 150 million tons of at least 2% copper. And more zinc, and perhaps 300 million ounce of silver. It would take you a lot of gold to buy that.
What do you suppose the Swahilis would say about that?
