John, >Yes, and Gruden should bring some excitement. Cost lots of draft choices & some cash; I sure wouldn't want to negotiate with Al Davis from a position of weakness. The Glazer's managed to make this coaching "transition" into a circus. One of the local columnist commented that even Enron official's were laughing at the Glazers.
"Even Enron...". That bad?
The local channels and ESPN had Al Davis on over and over claiming the compensation to the Raiders made it worth it (was a lot, draft choices especially), and that Gruden wanted to go home. Isn't that nice Al. Raider fans (not one here) continue to suffer with Davis (but they do have 3 SB wins).
I've been busy, haven't had time to read all the notes (and I don't want to be redundant). The interpersonal relationships are sort of nasty here recently, and now we've also got our very own Bible thumper. Can you go to hell for investing in the wrong company?
See, that didn't take long, did it?
Tony
p.s. Good luck to TB. They shouldn't need any, though, winning the new NFC South:
