bosquedog, Simple way to keep the host file in check... I use W2K Pro. I just checked my host file, it only has 2 entries both are for NAV to auto check email. I have autocomplete web addresses unchecked in Internet Options > Content and in the Advanced tab I have Inline autocomplete unchecked. Any URL I need to type in more than once I just bookmark. SfkaJB
