ld, IMHO, the banking/currency situation in Japan is just one of many fundamentally bullish underpinnings of the current gold market. It's difficult to say to what extent and when each of those will significantly affect the POG, but I am confident that the long term direction is up. The volume of bullion involved in the BOE auction is relatively small and not really an issue, but the event itself has previously been a source of fear and a turning point for the POG. It seems that the fear is gone, but I am hoping that its status as a turning point will be to our advantage this time. vt
