Let's revisit the basic market driver re: transaction security. the consumer using the direct sales (online) market is saying that 128bit SSL security is good enough. until it is compromised i reluctantly suspect that PayPal, by virtue of its standing at processing EBay transactions, has validated SSL security to the online consumer. re: wavx: the consumer isn't going to pay for an add-on containing the chip when he gets SSL (and upgrades) free via his browser.
now the question: how will the bros Sprague respond (from a marketing perspective) to the acceptance of 128 bit SSL by consumers and successfully used by PP?
