But TeeVee, you said: “ What bothered me at the time, is that the color was remarkably similar to a parcel of diamonds I had just looked at a few weeks earlier that was purchased in the Mazaruni district of Guiana.” You aren’t suggesting hanky panky are you?? From your guesses of largest diamond, I figure you’re just having a bit-o-fun.

I am not suggesting hanky panky. Its possible that the similarity in color was happenstance. If so, I would expect some larger stones with a pale green color to them from the Jackson Inlet bulk sample. On the other hand, if the stone I saw was from the Mazaruni district and was an attempt at promotion, it would be an unlikely coincidence that someone from TWG would also buy a parcel from that particular area some years later. Does anyone currently involved in TWG have a history in Guiana?... So...if the pale green diamond I saw was in fact from the Jackson Inlet area, it is a reasonable guess that more large, pale colored diamonds could show up. On the other hand, if there are no large, pale green diamonds in the bulk sample, I expect the stone size will be much smaller with commensurate grade and valuation.

WRT to SUF, long and strong...

cheers,
teevee
