It involves our legislatures, our courts, our school boards, etc. I have no idea why you are ignoring that point. PETA engages in vandalism for a cause, and tries to get restrictive legislation put in place. The ACLU litigates on behalf of NAZIs marching through a suburb filled with Holocaust survivors, and ties up thousands of police to keep the peace. We spend all kinds of resources with consultants and school boards and public meetings to create, publicize, and debate "Heather and Her Mommies" and other such things, and allow inner city classroom to be chaotic, overcrowded, and ineffectual. Yeah, it is a gussied up rant. It makes me furious to contemplate....... |
