SAN SUCKERS!!! Floor Talk Sizeable drop in storage sector stocks being attributed to further technical deterioration in the space, which has been compounded by Goldman Sachs comments this morning that sector is not likely to bounce back until we move further into the quarter and can see some resolution of the issues facing the sector. BRCD (-11%), LGTO (-11%), MCDT (-10.1%), EMLX (-8.7%) pacing the way to the downside... Relative strength exhibited today by leader EMC (EMC -0.7%) said to be based on renewal of rumor IBM will make a bid for the company. Worth noting that this rumor has been in the market for more than a year now, but was rehashed in January by Business Week.
