Depends on what you mean by "it", limtextile. If we are talking about wireless, answer is definitely yes (if we are talking about the other thing, well, I guess the answer does not change too much).

Speed speed speed. Speeeeeed. As anyone knows GPRS gives 171 kbs in a lab and on the field 20-60 kbs depending on the coding scheme and the time slots used. The first depends on the radio quality and latter on the usage rate of voice channels, number of dedicated channels and the number of time slots that the handheld supports. In practice you can organize in hot spots such as in industrial estates up to 100 kbs.

But, as I have very very patiently tried to explain to you dimwits many times before, speed is not the issue. What is the application or service in a mobile that would need more speed than the 9.6 kbs that was available for us since Joan Collins was a virgin?
